His face was long, the lines of his jaw not harshly square as some men's were. His nose, in profile, sloped straight down and tapered almost into a point; from the front, the nostrils flared out, making it seem almost too broad. His eyes slanted slightly up at the outside corners and were just short of being too wide-set. His mouth was wide, the lips almost too thin.

But it was all the little things that managed to make him gorgeous. His jaw line was clean-shaven and his skin was flawless. His nose was in perfect proportion to his face as a whole. His eyes, rimmed by thick blond lashes, sat above high sweeping cheekbones. And his mouth seemed to know how good the smile it constantly wore looked on it. Like a model in a slinky dress, it was confident, convinced that the rest of his face was merely a showcase for the expression."
